 Winners of the Russian FSO Awards for the past season were announced today. Congratulations to Oksana and Maxim for winning in Best Russian Dance Couple category and Will-to-Win. The FSO Awards were established one year ago by the internet community Fsonline.ru, and thanks to the credibility of its members and the prestige of the prizes, have already gained recognition among the skaters and figure skating fans. The winners will be awarded with Russian dolls created by Saint Petersburg artist Mary Rose.

The ISU has just announced the 2009 Grand Prix assignments. Oksana and Maxim will be competing at the Rostelecom Cup in Moscow, October 25-22, and at the NHK Trophy in Nagano, Japan, November 5-8.

This morning Max flew to Munich (Germany) for a check-up on the health state of his knee. The trip was long planned, and has nothing to do with the current health state of the figure skating champion. Maxim, we wish you a speedy recovery, and the return to top shape for the achievement of more victories. Unfortunately this will prevent Oksana and Maxim from attending the ISU World Team Trophy, which will be held in Tokyo (Japan) on April 16-19.

We've just called Oksana and Maxim to congratulate them on their world title. We found them very happy and excited, on their way to the exhibition practice. They had this message for the visitors of their website:
