On Friday, March 5th, we returned home in Moscow, but we didn't get to stay there very long. In fact, starting from tonight, we will be joining the Ilya Averbukh's Tour, and you will be able to see our performance there, beginning with tonight's show in Krasnodar. You can find a list of Tour Dates on the Ice Symphony's Company website (scroll down for English text). We are planning to take part to the whole tour, except for tomorrow's show, March 8th, in Krasnodar.

A heartfelt thank you for your kind words, and for your touching support before, during and after the Olympic Games. Knowing that our art is really important and necessary to the spectators is heartwarming!

Unfortunately we will not be participating in the 2010 World Championships in Turin: it is now time for us to rest, and take care of our health. But this is not a goodbye! Please keep checking the website for reports, and for updates on our future plans.

And so the ice dance competition of the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver has now come to an end. Oksana and Maxim finished with their dance "Passion".  Their final act was intense and moving. On the Vancouver ice, they told us the story of the relationship between two lovers, a story related with an amazing maturity of interpretation and execution. The judges awarded the dance with 101.04 points, putting them in third place, with an overall score of 207.64. The Gold went to Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir with and overall score of 221.57 points. Silver Medalists were Americans Meryl Davis and Charlie White with 215.74 points.

The Original Dance competition is now over. Oksana and Maxim skated their Aboriginal Dance, recreating on the ice moments of everyday's life in an Aboriginal tribe. The performance was a successful mix of their performing skills and their characteristic high technical level. The judges gave the dance 62.84 points, which made it the third original dance of the night. Oksana and Maxin are currently in third place with a score of 106.6 points. Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir are in the lead with 111.15 points, followed by USA's Meryl Davis and Charlie White with 108.55 points.

With the Compulsory Dance competition just over, ice dance couple Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin proved once more to rightly be considered the best Compulsory Dances performers in the world. After presenting a good work of edges, a clear sense of rhythm, and a perfect interpretation of the nature of the dance, they were rewarded by the judges with 43.76 points, which put them in the lead. Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir came second with 42.74 points, followed by USA's Meryl Davis and Charlie White.

Guys, best of luck for the rest of the competition!

Only two days now to the beginning of the XXI Vancouver Olympic Games ice dance competition.

The Compulsory Dance event will take place on Friday, February 19 at 16:45, with the ice dancers performing the "Tango Romantica". Oksana and Maxim will take the ice in the penultimate warm-up group, with starting number 18, as by the draw that was held today in Vancouver.
